I for one, would be more than happy to have anyone save us Canadians run the NW Passage. That would be one helluva an expensive place to run SAR missions for stranded ships.
I find it strange they named it the Southern Ocean and not the Antarctic Ocean in keeping with the Arctic Ocean. Maybe it’s to save all those kids in geography class who forget that first C.
